The 4th Annual Hands Together in Flatrock Music & Arts Festival was a fantastic day. Even the cicadas sung with joy! A HUGE thank you to Metro Arts, Vanderbilt Health at 100 Oaks, Abode Realty, Benchmark Realty, BMI, Ellis Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Performance Studios, Southeast Automotive, Walgreens, Woodbine Funeral Home, Anna Page for Metro Council, Crescent Carpets, Farrar Furniture, Glencliff Neighborhood Association, Istanbul Restaurant, McCallister Vacuum Company, New Song Christian Fellowship, Rebel Hill Florist, State Representative Janis Sontany, St. Edward Church & School, Tri Star Courier Services, Value Vet, and Walker Lumber & Hardware. Without our sponsors we could not exist.

Randy Kohrs, this year’s Grammy winning headlining musical artist, did an interview and performed some of his songs on Nashville’s original 650 AM WSM this morning. For more information on Randy you can visit his website. He performs at 3:00 on Saturday. We’re proud to have him in our community! Our food vendors are always excellent and this year is no different. 2011 Flatrock Festival’s tasty food selections include burgers and bbq from JC’s Bullseye, white beans & corn bread and fried chocolate pies from Dairy King, Nashville Jerk(2010 Hot Chicken Amateur Champion), Vinh-Long Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine, cuban sandwiches and bbq nachos from Happy Eating, fried catfish from Twin Kegs, and, of course, our ever-present taco truck! You’ll also be able to sample funnel cakes, kettle corn, and some cool treats from Dippin Dots, Kona Ice, and Pied Piper Creamery.

It is FREE to review, but Flatrock Festival is asking for a $20 donation from artists to show at this year’s festival.

Many, many thanks to ALL of our supporters.

Sponsors, artists, musicians, volunteers, food vendors, community groups. Incredible cooperation and brotherhood. We had over 5,000 visit and the buzz is everywhere!

Nashville was devastated by flooding last weekend. The Flatrock community, like the rest of Nashville, has pulled together to help clean up and rebuild. The 3rd Annual Hands Together in Flatrock Music & Arts Festival will go on as scheduled Saturday May 29th, 2010 from 10AM - 4PM.
